Northwest Pennsylvania Championship: The Sharon Tiger Techs competed at the Northwest PA Championship on February 10th, 2024. While at the event, Tiger Techs Team Orange received the First Place Champion’s Award and a Second Place Robot Performance Award. Tiger Techs Team Black received the Second Place Champion’s Award and a First Place Robot Performance Award. Both teams advanced to the Pennsylvania State Championship.
Pennsylvania State Championship: The Sharon Tiger Techs Robotics Teams recently competed at the Pennsylvania FIRST LEGO League State Competition where they received highest honors for their achievements. On March 10, 2024, two Sharon Tiger Techs Robotics Teams competed against 36 of the best teams in the state of Pennsylvania (representing over 400 teams in the state). Sharon Tiger Techs Team Orange received the one of the highest honors with the Second Place Champions (overall) Award. Sharon Tiger Techs Team Black received a First Place Robot Design Award. As a result of their achievements, Sharon Tiger Techs Team Orange will advance to the FIRST World Championship in Houston Texas in April. Tiger Techs Team Black will advance to the North American Robotics Invitational held outside of New York City in May. Both teams will be competing against the highest performing robotics teams from around the world.
