Tiger Techs Persevere to Achieve Accomplishments

Despite the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Sharon Tiger Techs Robotics Teams have persevered over the past year to overcome obstacles, improve the well being of others, and to compete as the top two robotics teams at their recent championship event.  The Sharon Tiger Techs, Team Black and Team Orange, consists of 18 students ranging from 5^th to 9^th grades in the Sharon City School District. On February 27^th, the Tiger Techs competed virtually at the Erie FIRST LEGO League Championship where Team Orange placed first overall and second place with their robot and Team Black placed second overall and first place with their robot.   In addition, Team Orange was awarded the Global Innovation Award nomination (GIA). This nomination allows the Techs to continue to compete with their innovative project with teams from around the world. Check back soon to learn more about the progress made over the season!
